TRACK US - Once we start the ride at approximately 2pm on the 3rd May you will be able to track us in near real time to check on our progress. Click here to go to the Track Us page.
During the first two weeks of May 2008, David and Chris Goldsmith will be cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats. The ride is in aid of Epilepsy Bereaved (www.sudep.org), a charity that supports research into epilepsy related deaths (Click here to read more on our charity page).
The brothers will be cycling unsupported and aim to complete the ride in 15 days. That means they will have to average 70 miles per day to get to their destination on time! They are not professional riders, so it’s going to be hard work.
David and Chris are totally committed to getting the job done in support of their chosen charity, a cause very close to their
hearts as they have both friends and family affected by epilepsy. Training has started, but there’s still a long way to go before they set off to achieve this monstrous goal!!
This website aims to provide a little more detailed information on the ride so that you can better understand the gravity of the task, but more importantly why David and Chris are passionate enough (and mad enough) to ride so far on their bikes in support of Epilepsy Bereaved. The Blog Page will be updated regularly with the latest information on how their training is going.
David and Chris have also set up a sponsorship page with Just Giving to make it very easy for you to part with your money for this very worthy cause! Please CLICK HERE to visit their sponsorship page.
CORPORATE SPONSORS - If your organisation would like to support David and Chris by becoming a Corporate Sponsor, please email David at d.goldsmith@rsaqua.co.uk for further details.
Thanks for visiting the website, please keep checking back for the latest postings on their Blog Page.
