Day 5 complete
Website May 7th, 2008A great day today, passed through some lovely little villages. Relatively flat compared to the beginning of the week, although a bit of a climb coming out of bath. Met another guy called Simon doing the same route but carrying camping gear with him - crazy fool! Got hotter as the day went on, making it a bit tough but kept the fluids up and arrived 5.30ish. Very friendly here at the Ship, and now waiting for dinner to arrive!

Great to follow the Yellow Brick Road every day. You two are doing brilliantly and everyone is so proud and pleased at your progress. Keep up the fluids and the carb mountain. Look forward to seeing you soon.

Well done Lads… major respect… 80 odd miles today in the hot sun. At least the wind will be behind you all the way tomorrow… High pressure up to Scotland. Well I did say I’d try to organise it for you!

More chance to enjoy the weather and scenery today and tomorrow with the shorter sections. The donation fund is now within a wisker (£250 or so) of the target. Great work. All at Epilepsy Bereaved send their heartfelt thanks to you both.

Good work fella’s. Less of the photos of David in tights please!!!
I cycled to work today in your honour, it was a whole 5 miles…I’m thinking of getting a lift home!
I can’t believe how far you’ve travelled already. I didn’t even believe towns like Shrewsbury really existed they’re so far north.
