Day 12 complete
Website May 14th, 2008Today was a fantastic day! It was the longest mileage out of all the days and some tough climbs but the scenery was absolutely breathtaking! First of all running up the side of Loch Lomond then later over Rannoch Moor and down to Glencoe. The weather was perfect, not too hot and so clear. Snow still on some of the peaks. Arrived in Ballaculish at 6.15 and have just polished off a lovely meal in the local, football on in the background! Fern villa guest house very friendly - I think we’ll sleep well! Tomorrow Fort William and Loch Ness…

Can’t believe how far north you are - hope that you are still enjoying as much as you were when you were with us. Not too far now - the end’s in sight!
Well done you two xxx

Well done, and now rewarded by some of the most spectacular scenery in the UK and with perfect weather to boot! And lets hear it for rift valleys, a neat way through those mountains. We’re all waving here at St. George’s.

We’ve been watching your progress with envy! What beautiful scenery. Pity about the cycling UP the hills but must be fun coming down.
Enjoy tomorrow. Less miles and the weather looks good again.

I can only imagine how sore your thighs must be by now! So impressed by what you are both doing and the money you have raised. Thinking of you all the way. Hope the midges are not too bad!
Lots of love Sam and Steve xxxx

Very proud of our future son-in-law and his brother.
Not far now, John O’Groats is in sight!
Much love, Gail and Martin.

Hi David and Christopher
Good to see you are making excellent progress, and we am sure a very warm welcome awaits you at Catherine and Frank’s in Dornoch. We are very proud of you both.
All the best for the remainder of the ride, but be gentle with Frank on the final day!
