The Charity
David and Chris are undertaking the ride from Lands End to John O’Groats in support of Epilepsy Bereaved, a charity that support research into epilepsy related deaths. This is a cause that David and Chris are passionate about supporting, as they have both friends and family that are affected by epilepsy.
The ride is also taking place in memory of Becky Scrivens, a very special young lady who was sadly lost to epilepsy in May 2004 at the age of 11. Becky’s parents, Roger and Sandie, are very active within the charity, and firmly support the valuable work, research and assistance it provides to affected families.
David has a close connection with Roger and Sandie, since he is not only friends with them, but also works for their company RS Aqua.
